The next principle within our Capitally Values series is the concept of Integrity. “We do what’s right and hold ourselves to the highest standards.” You may have seen we recently announced our new Director of Business Development for the Greater Toronto Region, Scott Marsh. When we set out to fill that vacancy, we were clear that we didn’t want “a salesperson, we wanted a solutions consultant that would come across as professional with prospective clients and referral sources.” We want to solve working capital problems for people, not push a financial product on them or their client. We didn’t want someone who was pushy, or would try to sign a business up for working capital solutions they didn’t need, that weren’t optimal for their situation, or that weren’t accurately explained.
Not only does our team believe in the importance of their personal and professional integrity, a number of our team are also Chartered Professional Accountants, who must maintain a standard of integrity in order to not risk losing their professional designations. There’s a reason so many referral sources think highly of us and recommend us when their clients need working capital – we are not perfect, but we are professional and act with integrity. Integrity is a core value at Capitally.
